Synopsis: SECRET LEVEL is an animated anthology series from the creators of "Love, Death + Robots" with stories inspired by video games from around the globe, spanning past, present, and future. Discover dragon gods, robot uprisings, and daring space heists in this boundary-shattering series that pays tribute to gaming, gamers, and the unyielding spirit of exploration that drives us all to look deeper, discover secrets, and push into the unknown.

Prime Video dropped a brand new Anthology series that highlights some of the most iconic games and some that are really popular in nerd culture. Secret Level doesn't just highlight these icons but articulates a story that we all imagine to be in when playing these games.

Watching the stories unfold in each episode had interested in learning more about the games lore (I wont spoil too much of an episode). For instance in one episode you follow a fighter in Unreal Tournament in a way it makes you feel the nostalgia of blasting enemies, getting headshots, and hearing ""M-M-M-MONSTER KILL!" after killing 5 or more opponents or getting 25 kills and hearing "Godlike!" by the announcer but instead of you being in the action, you are watching the perspective of the character. Every episode takes the vast gaming lore to the next level by conveying a story we haven't seen before or we only imagined as we played the games. Amazon spent no expenses in getting Keanu Reeves, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Steve Blum to bring various characters in each story to life.

Overall, Secret Level is an ode to gamers everywhere but you don't have to be a gamer to enjoy this awesome anthology that allows people who have no clue about these characters a chance to experience the stories, art and characters we have loved for ages.This series brings you into a level that not all get to experience; a world of mystery, imagination, and excitement. Currently there are only 8 episodes out but every Tuesday a new episode drops and I cant wait to see what other stories will be told next. To everyone, Welcome to the SECRET LEVEL!
